DUI, Shoplifting, Warrant: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Sept. 3 had the following reports:

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Aug. 27, at 10:05 p.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for a Hightstown warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 23-year-old was released on his own recognizance.

On Aug. 28, at 7:54 p.m., an officer arrested a West New York, NJ resident for a North Bergen warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 26-year-old was released on his own recognizance.

On Aug. 28 at 9:07 p.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for driving under the influence following a complaint that the vehicle was parked in a private driveway. The 27-year-old driver was released in accordance with John's Law.

On Aug. 31, at 1:27 p.m., an officer charged a Hightstown resident for shoplifting $32.99 worth of merchandise on two separate dates (Aug. 29 & Aug.30). The 50-year-old was issued a complaint summons pending court action.

On Sept. 1 at 2:51 p.m., an officer arrested a Monroe resident for shoplifting groceries valued at $270.70 from ShopRite. The 68-year-old was released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Sept. 1, at 3:01 p.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for a Trenton warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 26-year-old was turned over to the custody of the Trenton Police.

On Sept. 1, at 11:55 p.m., an officer arrested a Philadelphia, PA resident for a Newton Township (PA) warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 27-year-old was taken to Mercer County Corrections.
