DUI, Shoplifting, Warrant: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Sept. 17 had the following reports:

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On Sept. 10 at 11:21 a.m., an officer arrested a Jersey City resident for shoplifting $37.06 worth of merchandise. Additionally, the 22-year-old had active warrants out of North Brunswick and Jersey City. The man was served with a complaint summons pending court action and turned over to the custody of the North Brunswick Police.

On Sept. 15, at 10:15 a.m., an officer arrested a 44-year-old resident for an East Windsor warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The defendant was released after posting bail.

On Sept. 15 at 6:24 p.m., an officer arrested a Trenton resident for shoplifting $76.91 worth of merchandise from Target. The 35-year-old was released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Sept. 15 at 8:03 p.m., an officer arrested a Bayville resident for shoplifting $146.07 worth of merchandise from ShopRite. The 28-year-old was released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Sept. 16 at 11:08 p.m., an officer arrested a Vineland, NJ resident after learning he had active warrants out of Vineland. The 27-year-old was released after posting bail.

On Sept. 16 at 11:32 p.m., an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for driving under the influence following a call for a possible crash at Twin River Driver North. The officer located the vehicle and confirmed there was no collision, however, the driver showed signs of impairment. The 20-year-old was later released in accordance with John's Law.
