The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Oct. 1, an officer arrested an 18-year-old employee of Burlington for under-ringing $423.06 worth of merchandise on Sept. 3 and 10. The East Windsor resident was released on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Oct. 2, an officer arrested two Ewing residents for shoplifting $615.63 worth of merchandise. Both were released on complaint summonses pending court action.
On Oct. 2, an officer arrested a Hamilton resident for driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop. Additionally, the 35-year-old failed to disclose a firearm inside of his vehicle. The defendant was released in accordance with John's Law and on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Oct. 3, an officer responded to Route 130 South near the Colonade Motel for a road rage incident. A Staten Island resident caused damage to the victim's vehicle by striking it multiple times with a metal pipe. The 36-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Oct. 3, an officer arrested a Belmar resident for driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop. Additionally, the 35-year-old was found to have an active South Toms River warrant, and a search of the vehicle revealed suspected heroin. The woman was released in accordance with John's Law and on her own recognizance. The defendant was also served with a complaint summons pending court action.
On Oct. 4, an officer arrested an Ocean, NJ resident for driving under the influence following a motor vehicle stop. The 26-year-old was released in accordance with John's Law.
On Oct. 5, an officer arrested a Millstone resident for shoplifting $148.70 worth of merchandise from Walmart and refusing to comply with a trespass warning. The 71-year-old was released on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Oct. 5, an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for Hightstown, Hamilton, and South Brunswick warrants following a motor vehicle stop. The 39-year-old was released on her own recognizance.
