Hightstown Ram Pop Warner Midgets Finish a Strong Season

The Hightstown Pop Warner Rams Midget team finished their 2011 season with a 10-2 record. The 2011 team combined players from Millstone, Hightstown and West Windsor and finished the regular season undefeated. The Rams won the Central Jersey Division 2 NFC Title and played in the Garden State Pop Warner playoffs. The Pop Warner Rams finished in the "final four" of Pop Warner football teams in the state of New Jersey. 

The Rams were led all year by a tremendous offensive line consisting of Zach Turner, Joe Prichard, Mike Pullen, Frank Maisano and Omer Sanchez. The high powered offensive backfield was led be first year QB Ryan Conlon and running backs Jack Holleran and CJ Markisz. Markisz and Holleran led the powerful rushing attack and the offense averaged over 30 points per game. Receivers David Niciforo, Rory Helstrom and Tynan Mayer combined to catch 15 touchdown passes during the season. Other major contributors to the offense were James Russell, Nelson Rivera and Jason Santalla.

The stingy Ram defense was led by defensive linemen Steven Reece, Omer Sanchez, Zach Turner, Kyle Cetin and AJ Concepcion. Linebackers, Chase Miller, Joe Prichard and CJ Markisz stuffed opposing teams running attack. The defensive backs team of Jack Holleran, Mike Ragno and Rory Helstrom limited teams passing game. Helstrom led the team in interceptions. The Ram defense only gave up 33 points during the regular season.

The 2011 Hightstown Ram Pop Warner team really came together as a team and had very successful season.
