A.F.E.W. Volunteer moving on to Law School

A.F.E.W. Volunteer moving on to Law School!

While its always bittersweet for us when we say goodbye to one of our animals as they go off to their new homes, it's extra hard for us to say goodbye to one of our volunteers. Jill Westerberg has been a volunteer with A.F.E.W. since June 2010 and has dedicated so much of her time and affection to the animals we work with, helping many if them find loving homes.

It is that strong passion and dedication that has helped Jill achieve another great feat as she was recently accepted into law school at the City University of New York where she will be beginning classes this fall. Both our volunteers and animals will miss her dearly, but we are all so proud of Jill for her accomplishments and we wish her great success at CUNY.
