In HEWYBL Rookie Division action Friday evening, the Via Roma Vikings faced the Bicycle Rack Knights in a tie game. Viking's Sal Spinelli, with a quick bat, extended his hitting streak to eight in a row. In the field, Shannon Houtenville played amazingly as catcher, while Yogi Patel pitched strike after strike. For the Knights, Sean Failla had the hot bat, driving in a run with a blast down the third base line. Riley Failla commanded the pitchers mound with strong throws across the plate. Taiwan Parrish also hit well for the Knights going 3-for-3 on the evening.
