The Asians and the AP exams

Follow this step-by-step guide on how to successfully approach the AP exams - the Asian way.

So these past 2 days have probably been the most stressful I've ever experienced.

I know it doesn't sound like a lot but just imagine a scared little Indian kid taking the two biggest exams of his life.  For perspective, picture going to the supermarket and finding out that all the coffee in the world has just run out. Or picture going online only to find out all the free Wi-Fi in the world has been destroyed by North Korea. Yeah, it’s that type of panic.

Being Asian usually means you’re stereotypically always saying you’re going to fail a test when in reality the worst-case scenario is that you get a B.

In honor of AP exams, I have compiled a list of steps which are followed quite strictly by Asians during AP exams. It's like the bro code, but for Harvard.

(For everyone unaware of the scoring system, exams are graded out of 5)

Step 1. Tell all of your non-Asian (white) friends that your getting a 2, to make them believe your not a tryhard.

Step 2.  Use reverse psychology on all your Asian friends and tell them the exam isn't a big deal, to hope that they screw up and you can mock them in the near future.

Step 3. Convince yourself that you’re getting a 2 even though you have a 95 average in every class you take.

Step 4. Stay up till 4AM the night before, cramming for the exam.

Step 5. Take the exam.

Step 6. Tell everyone you knew nothing on the exam and you definitely got a 2.

Step 7. Act super surprised towards white people when you get your 5 in July.

This my friends, is how you successfully achieve a 5 on the AP exam, the Asian way.
