Burglars Shut Off Power, Steal Jewelry, Designer Handbags In East Windsor, Police Say
A Kingstone Lane home was broken into through an unlocked basement window on Friday, police said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — An East Windsor home was burglarized on Friday, with the suspect or suspects entering through an unlocked basement window, and stealing jewelry and handbags, police said.
The burglary occurred between 3 and 10:20 p.m., at a home on Kingstone Lane, police said. The suspects entered the home through an unlocked basement window and once inside, they shut off the electrical breaker panel and stole jewelry and women’s designer handbags, police said.
Two days earlier, on April 1 round 5:50 p.m., a woman was seen knocking on the front door of the home and neighboring homes. Police released an image of the woman and said she may have been casing the area.
