Careless Driving, Possession Of Heroin: East Windsor Police Blotter

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – On March 20, 1:15 a.m., an officer conducted a field inquiry with a vehicle in the parking lot of the American Kitchen & Bar after observing the vehicle running with its lights on. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. The 28-year-old East Windsor man was later released pending court action.

On March 21, at 3:49 p.m., an officer responded to the Windsor Corner Shopping Center parking lot on Route 130 for a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of a vehicle. Investigation revealed drug paraphernalia in plain sight and two of the occupants in possession of illegal drugs. Additionally, one person resisted being taken into custody and attempted to discard contraband. All three people were placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
