  • Whiz Kid's Name: Casey Weber
  • Whiz Kid's Age: 11
  • Whiz Kid's School:
  • Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Casey Weber created and implemented a school wide paper recycling program.  She started the program during the 2009-2010 school year with the fourth and fifth graders by writing a letter to the classes urging them to be mindful of their use of paper.  This year she introduced the program to the younger grades by giving a  speech to grade levels 1-3.  In her speech she explained the logical reasoning for recycling programs and told the students what they should to do recycle in their classrooms.
  • Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Casey’s passion makes her awesome.  Once she has an idea in her head, she is determined to see it through.  She is a child who is motivated by and makes all of her decisions based on what is best for the earth.
