"Curious George and the Golden Meatball" Is Tasty Treat for Younger Set at MCCC's Kelsey Theatre Oct. 3

Curious George, star of books, movies & the award-winning PBS television show, is coming to MCCC's Kelsey Theatre. Tickets on sale now.

Theatreworks/USA presents “Curious George and The Golden Meatball” at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus at 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Young audiences will embrace the inquisitive, lovable little monkey in this lively new musical. George had been waiting a long time for All–You-Can-Eat Meatball Day, which comes just once a year. On Meatball Day, George helps his friend, Chef Pisghetti, cook some delicious meatballs and serve them to a hungry crowd. But this year, the crowd had vanished. Something is keeping folks away. It’s chef against machine as George attempts to help his friend, going as far as Rome to enter the chef’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest. Youngsters will delight in accompanying George on this a fun-filled journey, where he learns more about Rome, meatballs and the “secret ingredient” to cooking than he could have ever imagined.

Theatreworks/USA is America’s largest and most prolific professional not-for-profit theater for young and family audiences. Since 1961, the company has enlightened, entertained, and instructed more than 90 million people in 49 states and Canada, now performing for about four million people annually.
