E-Bike Driver Seriously Injured In Pick-Up Truck Crash, NJ Police Say
The crash occurred on Wednesday evening at the intersection of North Main Street and Monmouth Street, police said.
HIGHTSTOWN, NJ — An e-bike driver sustained serious injuries following a collision with a pick-up truck on Wednesday, Hightstown Police said.
At 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Hightstown Police responded to multiple 911 calls about a crash at the intersection of North Main Street and Monmouth Street.
Once officers arrived at the scene of the crash, they found that a collision had occurred between an e-bike and a pick-up truck with an attached trailer.

As a result of the crash, the e-bike driver sustained serious injuries and was brought to Capital Health Helene Fuld Campus in Trenton by EMS.
The driver of the pick-up truck remained on scene and was cooperative with the investigation, police said.

The identities of the drivers involved in the crash are being withheld pending the notification of family members.
Investigation into the crash is active and ongoing, police said.

The Hightstown Police Department is being aided in its investigation by the Serious Collision Response Team of the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office.
