EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Michael Dzwonar has been named the Acting Superintendent of the East Windsor Regional School District, the Board of Education announced. He will assume the role on Sept. 1 following a vote by the board on Monday night, Aug. 13.

The Board of Education will employ a search firm to help find a permanent superintendent. “The Board is pleased to appoint Michael Dzwonar as Acting Superintendent following Dr. Katz ’s resignation,” Board of Education President Alice Weisman commented. “Mr. Dzwonar has been exemplary in his role as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for the past fifteen years. His leadership has been instrumental in implementing many initiatives and programs toward making the East Windsor Regional School District a high performing district. Mr. Dzwonar has a comprehensive understanding of the entire district from Pre-K to grade 12 as well as the board, our staff, and, most importantly, our students.
