East Windsor Holds Food Drive to Benefit Local Pantries

Donations will be collected until Jan. 31.

East Windsor Township is collecting non-perishable food for its New Year’s Food Drive that will be donated to RISE food pantry and the Green House Food Pantry.

“As the holiday season and its special focus on good deeds passes, we want to remind everyone that the need for assistance to people in our area continues, and call upon our community’s proven spirit of generosity,” said Mayor Janice Mironov in a news release.

The drive, which kicked off Sunday, will run until Jan. 31, according to the release. Donations can be dropped off at the East Windsor Municipal Building during business hours, or at the police department and East Windsor Rescue Squad #2 at any time.
