East Windsor Man Charged For Causing $38K In Damage To Vehicles: PD

The arrest was made in connection with complaints made back in February, police said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — A 25-year-old East Windsor resident was recently charged with 28 counts of criminal mischief for causing damage to vehicles.

On Feb. 18 several residents on the north side of Twin Rivers contacted the police department. They reported paint destruction and slashed tires on their vehicles. The combined total of the damage caused to vehicles was more than $38,000, police said.

Through video surveillance footage and digital forensic evidence, detectives were able to identify a suspect.

On June 29, around 10 a.m. officers took James Russell, 25, into custody. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center pending court action.
