Eluding Police, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
A police officer discontinued his attempt to stop a vehicle after the driver began driving erratically, police said.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The East Windsor Police blotter dated May 4 has the following reports:
On April 27, at 10 p.m., an officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop for an equipment violation on Route 130 North. The officer discontinued his attempt to stop the vehicle after the driver disregarded the officer who utilized both his emergency lights and siren. The driver was later identified as a 50-year-old Staten Island Man. Who was charged on a complaint summons. Charges are eluding police, obstructing traffic and other offenses.
On April 06 at 9:49 p.m., an officer attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on Route 133 East, after discovering the vehicle registration was expired and the vehicle owner had a suspended driver's license. The officer utilized both his emergency lights and siren, but the driver began driving erratically. Police said. The officer discontinued his attempt to stop the driver for safety reasons. The driver was identified as a 22-year-old Piscataway resident, who was charged on a complaint summons with eluding police, reckless driving, suspended driver's license and other offenses.
