The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On Jan. 28 at 8:44 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation. The driver fled from the stop as the officer was checking the driver’s pedigree information. The driver, a 40-year-old Philadelphia resident, was identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The man was arrested later that day in Pennsylvania and is pending a court a hearing.

On Jan. 30, at 10:09 p.m., a Freehold resident was charged with drug offenses following an investigation into a suspicious vehicle. The officer observed an occupied vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business. He spoke with the occupant and noticed signs of drug activity. During a search of the vehicle, an “unlawful amount of suspected marijuana” was seized, police said. The 31-year-old was released on scene and charged on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Feb. 1 at 1:13 p.m., an officer arrested a resident for North Brunswick and Hamilton warrants following a motor vehicle stop. The 47-year-old was turned over to the custody of the North Brunswick Police.

On Feb. 1 at 8:03 p.m., an officer arrested a Hightstown resident for East Windsor and Woodbridge warrants following a motor vehicle stop. The 31-Year-old was transported to Mercer County Corrections.

On Feb 2, at 12:05 a.m., an officer arrested a Mount Vernon, NY resident for a Vetnor City warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 28-year-old was released on her own recognizance.

On Feb. 2, an officer responded to Motel 6 for a disturbance call. A Newark resident was arrested for an active Newark warrant. The 38-year-old was released on his own recognizance.

On Feb. 3, an officer responded to Target for a shoplifting in progress. A Waterford Works, NJ resident was arrested for shoplifting $133.98 worth of merchandise and active warrants out of Pennsylvania. The 39-year-old was taken to Mercer County Corrections.

On Feb. 4, an officer responded to The Home Deport for a past tense shoplifting report. Loss prevention personnel reported that $1,300 worth of circuit breakers was stolen on Nov. 18, 25. The case was assigned to a detective who identified the suspect as a Brooklyn, NY native. The 31-year-old was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Feb. 4, an officer arrested a Trenton resident on a Lawrence warrant after observing her while patrolling the area of the Windsor Hotel. The 33-year-old woman was later released on her own recognizance.
