Kinnara® Ensemble, the noted chamber choir, will present “…and gone the next,” a choral reflection on change and loss.
Artistic Director JD Burnett explains, “This one hour concert concert will explore the ways choral music has served as a medium for expression of reaction to calamities such as sudden and unexpected loss. We venerate the victims of such events through the performance of pieces written to honor them.” Repertoire will include works by Mäntyjärvi, Byrd and MacMillan.
