The Clean Up weekend is scheduled rain or shine, at the Municipal Public Works Yard on Dey Road between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Attendants will be on duty to help with your acceptable discards.
The purpose of this service is to dispose of large bulky items that are not normally accepted by your private contractor. However, due to the high disposal expense, no individual should expect to dispose of truckloads of accumulated trash or construction materials. Cranbury residents should be prepared to provide proof of residency.
Unacceptable items included stumps and dead animals. This service is for Cranbury residents only. Early drop offs are not be permitted.
Electronic items for recycling will be accepted during this event. They include computers (monitors, scanners, CPU’s modems, printers, cables, and keyboards) televisions, telephones, and electric extension cords.
Due to new recycling vendor criteria, irons, fluorescent lamps including compact fluorescent bulbs, tube fluorescent bulbs, mercury filled thermostats and thermometers cannot be accepted at this event. These items will be accepted at the Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day on May 21 at the Middlesex County Hwy. Div., Apple Orchard Lane in North Brunswick.
