Holiday Stress and Caregiving
The holidays are a busy time of year. All the hustle and bustle of activities and celebration can create stress for a person with dementia and their caregiver. This session offers practical tips for balancing seasonal traditions and caregiving. The presentation includes ways to involve the person with dementia in the festivities, preparing family members for holiday gifts and guidelines for decorating safely.
