Free Income Tax Preparation Assistance Available In East Windsor

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Three sites in East Windsor Township will offer free income tax preparation assistance to help residents prepare and file their 2017 taxes, Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes said.

The deadline for filing 2017 tax returns for both state and federal taxes is April 17, 2018. The VITA Program generally offers free tax help to people who make $54,000 or less, people with disabilities, and limited-English-speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals in local communities. Services are available through mid-April. These services are provided in East Windsor Township at the following locations:
