Garden State African Violet Club Presents "Violets Rock" Show and Sale at MCCC April 30 and May 1
Visitors are invited to behold the beauty as the Garden State African Violet Club hosts its 65th Annual Show and Sale.

The Garden State African Violet Club presents its 65th Annual Show and Sale at Mercer County Community College (MCCC) Saturday, April 30, noon to 4 p.m., and Sunday, May 1, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show will be held in the MCCC Student Center on the West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.
This year’s spectacular show, themed “Violets Rock,” will feature America’s favorite houseplants in horticultural and floral arrangements, displayed in the spirit of rock and roll history. Gardening and flower enthusiasts will have an opportunity to see hundreds of judged plants on display, grown by local club members and prominent growers.
Experts will present workshops on April 30 beginning at 1:30 p.m. and on May 1 at noon, and will be on hand throughout the show to offer tips and answer questions about growing African violets. The two-day show also includes drawings for plants and sales of award-winning plants from commercial and club members just in time for Mother’s Day.
