EAST WINDSOR, NJ — The East Windsor Area Girl Scouts have kicked off the 2023 cookie season and there’s a new flavor to try.

This year the scouts are introducing a new cookie — the Raspberry Rally. It joins the long line of iconic flavors like Thin Mints, Caramel deLites and more.

However, the flavor will be available online only.

The Raspberry Rally is like a sister cookie to the Thin Mints. It is a thin crispy cookie infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in the same chocolaty coating as the Thin Mints.

Apart from selling cookies, the East Windsor Area Girl Scouts Troop 70913 has also worked hard for team recognition. They are six-time booth theme contest winners — one of the only prizes offered specifically for the entire troop.

Last year, the Troop decided to reenact their favorite 2019 booth, but with a twist. As part of the "Celebrating Girl Scouts 110th Birthday", they got creative with representing the Girl Scout Law by wrapping it up as “gifts.” They completed the look by having each girl don party hats that matched her cookie box color.

"Our unique sales strategy provided customers a fun and memorable experience, further encouraging them to take action and purchase cookies," said April Suk, Leader Troop 70913.

The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. And through the online only sale of Raspberry Rally, the scouts hope to guide the cookie program's evolution for the digital future.

If you happen to see Troop 70913's cookie booth, stop by, say hello, and buy a box of cookies. All sale proceeds stay within the community for the Troop to launch other projects that build their courage, confidence, and character.
