Hightstown Recognizes Borough Volunteers

As part of Volunteer Appreciation Week, Hightstown Borough recognized volunteers in the community at Monday’s council meeting.

Council member Rob Thibault said there are over 300 volunteers in the borough and thanked various groups for their services.

“We want to acknowledge and say thank you to all of our volunteers,” Thibault said.

The council passed a resolution March 19 declaring April 15 to 21 Hightstown Volunteer Appreciation Week, which coincides with National Volunteer Week.
