Hightstown’s Finest and Bravest Gear Up for the Holidays
Hightstown's PBA and Engine Co. are working to get you ready for the holidays

From a toy drive to a Christmas tree sale, some of Hightstown’s finest and bravest are working to get you ready for the holidays.
The Hightstown Borough Police Benevolent Association Local 283 has begun collectiong for their annual “Toys 4 Kids” toy drive, which will end Dec. 7.
As part of the “Toys 4 Kids” program, the PBA is collecting new, unwrapped toys for underprivileged children in the area, “allowing the children to enjoy the holiday season by receiving new toys.” Additionally, gifts left over from the toy drive will be donated to the Sandy Relief Efforts.

Gifts may be dropped off at the Hightstown Borough Police Department, First Constitution Bank-Hightstown Branch, Wells Fargo Bank-Hightstown Branch, and K&B Tattoo Parlor.
“Thank you for your generous donations, allowing us to provide for those in need,” read the PBA toy drive announcement.

The Hightstown Engine Co. #1 is once again hosting its annual Christmas Tree Sale, which will run until trees are sold out.
Trees are on sale Monday through Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday from noon to 9 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
Firefighters will deliver trees locally, within Hightstown, East Windsor, and Cranbury, and drop them off on residents’ porches.
The engine company will also accept donations for Hurricane Sandy victims during tree sale hours.
