Kelly's Heroes to Hold St. Patrick's Day Party March 19 in East Windsor
Proceeds from Kelly's Heroes fund raiser will benefit pancreatic cancer research and scholarships at Hightstown and Notre Dame high schools.

It’s a party with a purpose! Join Kelly’s Heroes March 19 at the American Legion in East Windsor for its first St. Patrick’s Day party. Proceeds from the event will benefit pancreatic cancer research and fund scholarships for a graduating senior at Hightstown High School and Notre Dame High School.
Kelly’s Heroes is a 501c3 nonprofit whose goal is to increase awareness and raise funds for pancreatic cancer research and patient support services. Its inspiration is Steve Kelly, a longtime East Windsor resident whose 22-month battle with pancreatic cancer was marked by grit, grace and hope.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer. Three out of four people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer will die within a year, and the five-year survival rate is just 8 percent. Pancreatic cancer is projected to pass breast cancer this year as the third leading cause of cancer death.
