Man Charged After Threatening Uber Driver With Knife In East Windsor: Police
An altercation broke out between the driver and passenger over the fare, police said. The man was charged with making terroristic threats.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ - A Neptune resident was charged after he threatened an Uber driver with a knife, East Windsor police said.
The 28-year-old man was charged with making terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
On Nov. 20, at 12:30 a.m., an officer responded to the area of Dutch Neck Road for a report of a dispute between an Uber driver and a passenger.

According to investigation, an argument ensued regarding the price of the fare and the passenger threatened the driver with a knife, according to the East Windsor police blotter.
The passenger was taken into custody and released pending court action.
