MCCC to Host Three 'FAFSA Days' for Prospective and Current College Students

Are you a college-bound student seeking assistance in filling out the FAFSA form online? MCCC can help!

Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Financial Aid Office will host three “FAFSA Days” (formerly known as College Goal Sunday) for Mercer County residents. Dates and locations for MCCC’s “FAFSA Days” are: Saturday, Feb. 6, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MCCC’s James Kerney Campus, 102 North Broad Street in Trenton; Thursday, March 10, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nottingham High School in Hamilton; and Saturday, April 2, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MCCC’s James Kerney Campus.

“FAFSA Days” provide prospective and current college students with in-person assistance with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is filed online. This national initiative is focused on urban communities and is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NJASFAA) and the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) with a grant from USA Funds.

Sessions will include general financial aid presentations in both English and Spanish by NJASFAA staff members. This free event is open to any current or prospective student seeking assistance in filling out the FAFSA.
