Community Invited for Ribbon Cutting and Tours

At 10 a.m., a ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place for new facilities for MCCC’s Youth College, which provides year-round enrichment programs for middle and high school students from the Trenton area. Renovations include new classroom space, including a TEAL (Technology Enabled Active Learning) classroom.

Following the ceremony, student leaders will conduct tours of the Kerney Hall building, including state-of-the-art biology and chemistry labs, and the New Jersey Manufacturers Career Center. The tour continues across the street in Trenton Hall (137 N. Broad Street), which houses classrooms for the Fashion Design and Merchandising Programs. Fashion students will unveil their work in a window display at 11:30 a.m. and visitors are invited to vote for their favorite designs.
