Mercer County To Host Back-To-School Event On Aug. 28
Students will receive backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming year. A COVID-19 vaccine clinic will also be held.
MERCER COUNTY, NJ - Students across Mercer County will be heading back to school soon and many have begun preparation for their return to classrooms. To help children in need prepare for the upcoming school year, Mercer County will be hosting a back-to-school event on Aug. 28.
The event will be held at Arm & Hammer Park from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Students will receive backpacks and school supplies.
For those who are yet to receive their COVID-19 vaccines, a clinic will be held in partnership with Penn Medicine during the event.

The event is being sponsored by the Mercer County Prosecutor's Office, Sen. Shirley Turner, Sheriff Jack Kemler, Capital Health, Capital City Community Coalition, and Trenton Thunder.
