Mercer County’s Public Ice Skating Center Is Now Open

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — Mercer County’s public ice skating center is now open for the season. Located at Mercer County Park, West Windsor the Skating Center is open to the public seven days a week until March 11, 2022. The Skating Center offers fun, affordable activities for people of all ages.

“Generations of Mercer County residents have enjoyed our Skating Center, which continues to grow in popularity,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes.

“Ice skating is a great way for everyone in the family to stay active during the cold winter months.”

The Skating Center at Mercer County has a full snack bar, a fireplace, lounge area, and dining tables. Also available on site are vending machines, skate rentals, a skate-sharpening service and lockers. The center offers skating sessions, skating lessons, birthday parties, and ice time for hockey. Face masks are encouraged in the lounge area.

Skating hours for the general public are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Fridays, 7:45 to 9:45 p.m.; Saturdays, 1 to 3:30 p.m., 5 to 7 p.m. and 7:45 to 9:45 p.m.; and Sundays, 1 to 3:30 p.m. Senior Skate (62 and older) is offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 to 10 a.m. Adult Only Skate (21 and older) is offered Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30 to 10 a.m.

Ticket prices are $8 for adults; $6 for juniors (11 and under); and $6 for seniors. Skates can be rented for $4 per pair. Frequent skater passes and season passes also are available.
