New Community Bus Approved For East Windsor Township
The bus replaces the bus purchased in 2007. Both were purchased using federal grant money.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — East Windsor’s request for a new community bus has been approved by the New Jersey Transit for Funding through the Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 Program, officials announced. It will replace the bus the township purchased in 2007, also using federal grant money.
The bus provides over 7,000 rides a year to residents of East Windsor and Hightstown, through an interlocal agreement, to medical appointments, shopping, recreation activities, and to and from the Township Senior Center.
It runs Monday through Friday and is handicap accessible. The fare is 25 cents per ride. For more information or to make an appointment, call the Senior Center at 609-371-7192.
