New Officer Sworn In To East Windsor Police Department
Officer Maria Smith previously served with the Rumson Police Department.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ – New police officer Maria Smith was recently sworn in to the East Windsor Police Department. Smith will be assigned to the Uniform Service Division of the police department.
Mayor Janice Mironov administered the oath of office to Smith.
“I congratulate new Police Officer Smith who has the good career fortune to join a professional organization of police officers under the leadership of Chief Geary and our superior ranked officers,” Mironov said. “Officer Smith has successfully passed the scrutinous selection process to become part of our East Windsor team.”

Smith graduated from the Ocean County Police Academy in May 2021. She has an Associate of Science degree from Ocean County College. Smith previously served as a Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer with the Rumson Police Department.
