News Brief: East Windsor to Seek Cheaper Energy
The township plans to go to the market for lower-cost energy providers.
East Windsor will explore the market for an alternate energy provider in East Windsor in an effort to save on energy costs.
“In these hard times you have to find new ways to save money,” Councilman Alan Rosenberg said.
There was a general consensus among the council members that a new energy supplier could economically benefit the township. The council will proceed with a timeline to look in the market for proposals on behalf of companies to serve as energy suppliers.
