Obstructing, Harassment, Possession of CDS: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police Blotter dated Feb. 12 had the following reports.

The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On Feb. 7, an officer arrested a 36-year-old for a Trenton warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The Trenton resident was released on his own recognizance. On Feb. 7 an officer responded to the area of Twin Rivers Drive North for a disturbance. A 24-year-old East Windsor resident was uncooperative, however, was placed under arrest after a brief struggle. He was released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Feb. 9 an officer responded to ShopRite for a report of an individual on location that was barred from the property. The officer located the man and confirmed he was previously warned not to return to the property. The East Windsor resident was placed under arrest and released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Feb. 9, an officer responded to the area of Route 571 at the intersection of Route 130 for a report of an individual who was unresponsive behind the wheel. The defendant showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded suspected heroin. The Monroe resident was released in accordance with John’s Law and issued a complaint summons pending court action.

On Feb. 10 an officer arrested the defendant for Millstone and Trenton warrants following a motor vehicle stop. The Hamilton resident was released on his own recognizance.

On Dec. 23, 2025, an officer initiated a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on Route 33 East. The driver fled from the traffic stop, however, was later identified and a warrant was issued for his arrest. The Edison resident was later arrested for an unrelated matter and lodged at Middlesex County Corrections. On Feb. 10 the East Windsor Police assumed custody of the defendant and took him to Mercer County Corrections pending a court hearing.
