Possession Of Cocaine, Careless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotted dated Thursday June 29, had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On June 25, at 4:20 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle stopped on Route 571 partially blocking the road and stopped to check on the driver. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. He was charged with DUI, careless driving and other offenses. The driver, a 31-year-old East Windsor resident, was later released pending court action.
On June 28 at 12:10 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing the vehicle fail to maintain its lane of travel. Investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The driver, a 40-year-old Jamesburg resident, was placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
On June 28, at 1:08 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite for a report of shoplifting. Investigation revealed that a 24-year-old Hamilton resident left the store without paying for $441.45 worth of merchandise. The individual was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.
