Possession of Crack Cocaine, DUI: East Windsor Police Blotter
Authorities found a man in possession of crack cocaine during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — This week’s East Windsor Police Blotter contains the following reports:
On Dec. 1 at 2:54 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 after finding the vehicle registration was expired. The officer was given consent to search the vehicle after he observed signs of possible controlled drug substance (C.D.S.) use by the occupants. On searching of the vehicle, police found prescription medication and C.D.S. paraphernalia, police said. A passenger of the vehicle was also found to have warrants for his arrest. The Glendora resident was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine and was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of a prescription legend drug without prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released pending court action.
On Dec. 3 at 5:42 p.m., police responded to the area of Abbington Drive for a report of a motor vehicle off the road. Investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling on Abbington Drive, left the road, and struck a large bush. The driver exhibited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. The 50-year-old East Windsor woman was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and other offenses. She was released pending court action.

On Dec.3 at 11:34 p.m., police conducted a field inquiry with an idling, parked vehicle in the parking lot of Bottle King on Route 130. The officer found the driver sleeping behind the wheel and an open alcoholic beverage container in the center console, police said. The 63-year-old Hightstown resident exhibited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. he was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and other offenses. The man was released pending court action.
On Dec. 4 at 5:10 p.m., police investigated an idling, parked vehicle in the Twin Rivers Mall parking lot. The officer found the driver sleeping behind the wheel. The 41-year-old Monroe resident exhibited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests, police said. The driver was charged with DUI, consuming alcohol in motor vehicle, and other offenses.
