Possession of Heroin, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
Five DUIs were reported in the past week in East Windsor, according to the police blotter.
EAST WINDSOR, NJ – The East Windsor police blotter released Thursday, contained the following reports:
On Feb. 11 at 4:12 p.m. an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Knollwood Drive after finding a vehicle failing to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, a 63-year-old East Windsor resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was later released pending court action.
On Feb. 12 at 11:58 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 after observing an obstruction of view violation. An investigation revealed that the driver, a 53-year-old man was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. The man was placed under arrest and later released pending court action

On Feb. 13 at 12:32 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop on Route 130, the driver, a Princeton resident, exhibited signs of impairment and failed field sobriety tests. The driver was charged and later released pending court action.
On Feb. 13, at 6:45 p.m., an officer conducted a motor stop at Dutch Neck Road/Royal Plaza, after receiving a call about a vehicle driving erratically and failing to maintain its lane of travel. The driver, a 44-year-old Hamilton resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was charged and later released pending court action. .

On Feb. 13 at 8:22 p.m., an officer responded to the Shell gas station on Route 33 for a hit-and-run accident. According to investigation, a vehicle was struck while stopped at a red traffic signal on Lake Drive and the second vehicle left the scene. The officer responded to the residence of the second driver who exhibited signs of impairment. The driver, a 34-year-old East Windsor resident, was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was charged and later released pending court action.
On Feb. 15 at 6:46 p.m., an officer conducted a field inquiry with the driver of a vehicle in the parking lot of 279 Route 571 after receiving information that the described vehicle was driving erratically. The driver, a Princeton resident, exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 55-year-old was later released pending court action.
