Possession of Heroin, Shoplifting: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated June 8, had the following reports:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On June 4, at 3:42 p.m., an officer responded to TJ Maxx on Route 571 for a report of shoplifting. Investigation revealed that two individuals left the store without paying for $499.92 worth of merchandise. The officer was able to identify both men who were charged on a complaint summons pending court action.

On June 5, at 6:55 a.m., an officer responded to the Holiday Inn parking lot after hotel staff reported a suspicious person in a vehicle. Investigation revealed that a 26-year-old Monroe man was in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
