Primary Day 2017: Who's On The Ballot, Where To Vote In East Windsor

Tuesday, June 6, is also the final day to register as an independent candidate, and unaffiliated voters can vote in the primaries.

EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — East Windsor Township voters will know what their final ballot looks like for November’s general elections on Tuesday, June 6. Not only is Tuesday Primary Day in New Jersey, it’s the final day for candidates to file petitions to run independent campaigns for public office. The deadline is 4 p.m.

As of now, Democrats Perry Shapiro, Alan Rosenberg and Denise Daniels are the only three candidates who filed petitions to run for a trio of open council seats. They will run unopposed in the Democratic Primary, and no Republicans filed nominations to run by the April 3 deadline. Unless independent candidates file by Tuesday’s deadline, they will be seated on council in January.

However there are three contested primaries on East Windsor voters’ ballots on Tuesday.
