Sell your stuff - crafts, new merchandise, used items - at a Flea Market, Craft and Yard Sale to benefit senior dogs. Sign Up today!
Marty’s Place Senior Dog Sanctuary invites individuals, families, crafters, businesses and nonprofits to sell new merchandise, handmade crafts or used items at its upcoming Flea Market, Craft and Garage Sale. The sale will be held outdoors at 118 Route 526, Upper Freehold, NJ 08501 on Saturday, June 24th, from 8 AM to 2 PM. Interested sellers can obtain application forms, with additional details, at http://www.martysplace.org or by contacting the sanctuary.
“We want to have a wide variety of merchandise for shoppers to choose from, including treasures that people may have found in their attics or closets during spring cleaning,” says sale organizer, Juliana Petitt of East Brunswick.
There are a few restrictions on what can be sold -- no large furniture, firearms, flammable items or pets, for example. If multiple sellers representing the same commercial enterprise apply, only one will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. (So, don’t delay).

Sellers will be charged just $20 for a 10-foot by 12-foot single space and $35 for a double (20-foot by 12-foot) space. All proceeds go towards the care of senior dogs residing at Marty’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides a safe, loving, protected environment for dogs, age 7 and older, that do not have homes. Sellers also have the option to donate a portion of their proceeds to the sanctuary, with those who choose to do so receiving special promotional signage for their spaces.
“Bargain hunters and craft lovers should mark their calendars now too,” Juliana urges. “It’s a free, family friendly activity. Dogs on leashes are welcome. We’ll be advertising what’s specifically available once we hear from enough sellers.”
