Society of American Magicians Assembly 181 Meeting and Workshop

It is time to get serious with the mysterious!

SAM 181 has a special event planned for this Thursday, October 1, 2015.
An Interview and discussion with Blackstone’s Elusive Moth, Adele Friel Rhindress. From 1947 - 1950, Adele Friel toured North America as an assistant to the greatest magician of the era, Harry Blackstone Sr., and played an integral role in his “Show of 1001 Wonders”.

Her recent book, a “Memoirs of an Elusive Moth” gives readers a rare and intimate first-person account of one of America’s greatest touring magic shows. Laid bare in its pages are many of the secrets behind Blackstone’s magic, as well as details of life in the theater, behind the scenes, on the road, and more.


This is event not to be missed. SAM Assembly 181 of Hightstown meets the first Thursday of every month, September thru June at the First United Methodist Church , 187 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Doors open at 7:00PM for meeting and greeting, and the official start time for the assembly meeting is 7:30 PM. This event is free for all members and guests.
