With tenacious defending from Meg Regan, Erin DiPiano and Katie Bertrand, Storm won 2-1 against previously undefeated Point Pleasant's Pride. Early in the first Grace O'Leary intercepted a clearing attempt and crossed it to a streaking Danielle Faup for the goal. Keeper Mary Kate Hartnett earned another clean sheet in the 1st half and was followed ably by Nicole Masone who kept Pride trapped in the offense zone with well placed punts. Point Pleasant tied it at the 45 minute mark and minutes later Payton Rupp forced a corner kick from Mikayla Capasso over to Grace O'Leary who scored the winner.
