Storm defeated Hazlet 3-2 picking up 2 goals early in the 1st half. Striker Ariana Roco picked up her first goal with the team, placing a cross from mid-fielder Grace O'Leary into the far right corner. O'Leary scored a few minutes later seizing a turn-over at the eighteen, firing it under the crossbar. Keeper Mary Kate Hartnett held Hazlet scoreless in the first half aided by Sweeper Danielle Faup's speed and steady clears. Hazlet came on strong in the second half scoring twice to tie it up. Keeper Nikki Masone held on the rest of the way helped by the tenacious play of mid-fielder Jessica Saldutti and backs Meg Regan, Erin DiPiano and Mikayla Capasso. As time was running short Payton Rupp sealed the win for Storm winning a loose ball inside the box and driving into the right corner of the net.
