TSA Pre-Check Can Put Travelers In A Shorter Line At Trenton-Mercer Airport
Interested travelers can go through the online registration process and receive a Known Traveler Number.

It looks like lines are about the get a lot shorter at Trenton-Mercer Airport.
The airport is now offering Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Pre-Check, a program that allows some travelers to experience expedited security screening at TTN and other participating airports, county officials said on Thursday.
Those who participate in the TSA PreCheck process can leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in their carry-on in select screening lanes.

The pre-enrollment process is online at www.tsa.gov/tsa-precheck. Applicants will then be asked to make an appointment and complete their enrollment by going in-person to one of TSA’s authorized enrollment locations. They will need to provide documentation to confirm their citizenship or immigration status as well as provide fingerprints.
Travelers can find centers closest to them by entering their ZIP code on the TSA website.

Once approved, travelers will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) and will have the opportunity to use the service lanes at security checkpoints at more than 180 participating airports with 19 participating airlines.
