Warrant Arrest Leads to Drug Bust in Mercer County: Prosecutor
The West Windsor man was arrested on a warrant out of New York. Police then searched his house after finding him in possession of heroin.

A West Windsor man who failed to appear in federal court in New York was arrested last week and now faces state weapon and drug charges, Acting Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said on Monday.
On Wednesday morning, June 15, as Mercer County Prosecutor’s Detective Kevin Searing and members of the U.S. Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force attempted to execute a federal warrant at a residence on South Post Road in West Windsor, they saw Alexander Rosario, the target of the investigation, in plain view.
Rosario, 41, had heroin on him at the time, and that was in plain view, police said. He was arrested on the arrest warrant out of Manhattan for failing to appear at a court appearance.
