• Anonymous donor gives $125M to Hackensack Meridian Health (binje.com) — Eatontown residents could see expanded access to urgent care, diagnostics, and primary doctors as Hackensack Meridian Health plans new Health & Wellness Centers in towns including Eatontown, Freehold, Howell, and Red Bank. A record $125 million anonymous donation will fund a major pavilion at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and support broader upgrades across the network, aiming to boost local emergency, specialty, and community care.
   

• Taco and Churro Are Home After Beloved Geese Vanished From Deal Lake (shorenewsnetwork.com) — Two longtime Deal Lake geese, Taco and Churro, were examined at the Monmouth County SPCA's Eatontown facility and cleared to return home after being found at a Warren County farm. Asbury Park neighbors had launched a social media search when witnesses saw the birds taken away in a car. Authorities are still investigating, and the SPCA is reminding residents that removing wildlife can bring fines or jail time.
