2 Hurt In Early Morning Rt. 27 Crash: Edison Police
One of the two drivers was seriously injured.

EDISON, NJ — Two drivers were injured in a crash on Route 27 early Thursday morning, Edison Chief of Police Thomas Bryan said.
The crash happened at 5:25 a.m., when Odette Mathos, 54, of Newark, struck Dominick Gaynor, 56, of Edison. Police said Mathos was driving on Rt. 27 when he struck Gaynor, who was making a left turn onto the road from Terry Ave.
Both drivers were injured in the crash. Gaynor was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with serious injuries, Bryan said, while Mathos was taken to JFK Medical Center with a shoulder injury.

No charges have been filed, but the investigation is ongoing.
