$252,747 Lotto Ticket Sold In Metuchen

METUCHEN, NJ — One Metuchen lottery player was a winner Wednesday night, taking home a $252,747 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at Metuchen Food Market on Central Ave. The numbers for the Wednesday drawing were 17, 18, 27, 32 and 33 and the XTRA number was 02.
Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold
at Metuchen Food Market. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning
ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
