5 New York Teens Charged With Armed Robbery In Metuchen
On Tuesday, a man was assaulted on the sidewalk underneath the railroad bridge on Main Street, Metuchen, police said.
METUCHEN, NJ — Five New York teens were arrested and charged with robbery in Metuchen on Tuesday, Metuchen Police said Thursday.
Nature Abdulla, 19; Justin Robinson, 22; Jordan Gammons, 18; and Alycia Dunham, 19 of New York were each charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a handgun for unlawful purpose and resisting arrest, police said.
Elijah Smith, 19, of New York was also taken into custody for the above charges in addition to hindering, aggravated assault on a police officer, possession of a weapon other than a firearm, and credit card theft.

On December 21, at 10:53 p.m., a man was assaulted on the sidewalk underneath the railroad bridge on Main Street, Metuchen police has announced in a Facebook post. The five people were apprehended with assistance from the Edison Police Department.
The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for injuries sustained during the robbery and was released later in the evening, police said. A handgun was involved in the robbery along with a knife.
